For this exercise, we have to write a tentative thesis for our research paper. We were given five different templates of ones we can go off of.
I chose the thesis from a hypothesis question because the other ones didn't match my topic. I just started to eliminate them one by one until there was one left that seemed to best fit my research topic.
Tentative thesis:
Based on my research, the assumption that journaling is only for people who love writing appears to be false. Journaling can in fact be very therapeutic to most who do it.
So, your tentative thesis has me wondering about your audience and purpose. Will you try to convince people who do not love writing to embrace journaling as a healthy mental habit??
